About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to lead data-driven analytics initiatives across banking, customer, marketing, and business performance domains. The role will involve analysing large datasets, developing actionable insights and dashboards, defining KPIs, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead data analytics initiatives from requirement gathering and data extraction through analysis, visualization, and insight generation.
- Extract, transform, manipulate, and analyse large datasets from sources such as Hive, SQL databases, ETL pipelines, and BI platforms.
- Analyse banking performance, customer behaviour, campaign effectiveness, market trends, and business metrics to identify opportunities and performance gaps.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and management reports.
- Work with business and functional stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and analytical objectives.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business teams.
- Perform exploratory, ad-hoc, and deep-dive analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Work with big-data technologies including Hive, Hadoop, and Spark to process and analyse large datasets.
- Use Python for data analysis, automation, and analytical workflows.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and integrity across analytical outputs.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytics processes, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data utilization.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Business, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to deliver analytics solutions.
- Guide junior analysts, review analytical outputs, and contribute to best practices across the analytics function.
Total Experience: 5 - 10 years
Required Candidate Profile:
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Banking Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Campaign Analytics, or related areas.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and data visualization.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong experience with Hive and the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Good working knowledge of Spark and big-data processing.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
- Experience working with ETL processes and multiple data sources.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, customer analytics, campaign analytics, and business performance reporting.
- Banking/financial services or retail analytics experience is preferred.
- Experience leading analytics projects and working with senior business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
