DATA ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from core systems and other business applications.
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
Maintain and enhance a segregated data warehouse using Microsoft Fabric and related data platform technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Build and maintain data integrations, dashboards, analytical tools, and management reports to support business intelligence and performance monitoring.
Provide reliable data for day-to-day operational analytics, reporting requirements, and key business performance metrics, including customer acquisition and operational efficiency.
Maintain data accuracy, quality, integrity, security, and availability while ensuring compliance with relevant data governance standards and business requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements by automating manual tasks, optimizing data delivery, enhancing data pipelines, and supporting system migrations, API integrations, and future platform enhancements.
Work closely with IT, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Executive, Product, Design, and other business teams to resolve data-related technical issues, understand business needs, and deliver effective data solutions.
Performed duties or responsibilities assigned by Divisional Heads/Immediate superior.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information
Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering, ETL development, Advanced
SQL, database management, and data integration.
Practical experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL/ELT processes and handling large, complex datasets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modern data platform technologies, preferably
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Python programming & analytical tools (Power BI)
Experience in integrating data from multiple systems, working with APls, and developing dashboards, management reports, and analytical solutions.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with an understanding of data accuracy, integrity, security, performance optimization, and scalable data infrastructure.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical data solutions.
