Business Developer – Strategy & Finance

We are looking for a Business Developer to join the newly established Business Development & Strategy function within one of our customers' organizations. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of the functional strategy, drive strategic finance initiatives, and support governance and business development activities across the organization. You will collaborate closely with Management, R&D, and other key stakeholders to help shape the future of the R&D organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the functional strategy.

• Drive strategic finance initiatives and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Manage and develop the R&D management system and governance processes.

• Support strategic programs and initiatives in collaboration with other teams.

• Drive prioritization activities together with commercial stakeholders for the portfolio.

• Build and maintain strong collaboration interfaces between BID, Group R&D, Group Finance, and other key stakeholders while monitoring progress on strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

• Approximately 5 years of experience in leadership, project management, finance, business development, or a similar role within R&D or a cross-functional environment.

• Proven experience driving strategic initiatives and transformation activities in complex organizations.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across multiple functions and leadership levels.

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Analytical, self-driven, and solution-oriented professional with strong business acumen and the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities.
