Job Title: Django and Python Web Developer

Location: Nigeria (Hybrid)

Summary

• The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing scalable, high-performance web applications using Django, Python, and other related technologies.
• We are seeking a talented Django and Python Developer to join our team.

You will have the following responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems
• Develop and maintain web applications using Django and Python
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments

Must have the following

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Django and Python development
• Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university
• Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Heroku, AWS or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB or MySQL
• Industry Experience: Trading and electronic trading platforms is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or similar tools
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
