We're looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our DX team, someone who’s as comfortable diving into a Ruby on Rails codebase and raw SQL. You’ll work end-to-end on features: from shaping vague problem statements with product and design, to shipping high-quality code, to measuring impact and iterating quickly.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Build REST APIs that power core customer experiences
Configure monitoring for backend services
Build CI/CD pipelines
Develop integrations with our content management system
Build features and services with reliability in mind
Qualifications
Your background:
3+ years experience with one or more prominent languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or Rails is required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience).
Experience performing platform integrations using REST.
A background in working with GIT in a collaborative team setting.
Familiarity with server technologies (NPM, Docker, NGINX, Express/Node).
A love for working collaboratively on a team with varied strengths.
Experience working with an enterprise content management system - Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
