Your future team
The globally distributed Atlassian Advisory Services team partners with strategic and enterprise customers to solve complex business challenges and maximize the value of their Atlassian investment. As a Senior Solution Consultant on the Advisory Services Delivery team, you will provide strategic technical guidance, influence senior stakeholders, and help customers achieve meaningful business outcomes at scale.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
Collaborate with peers across Advisory Services to align on strategic outcomes and deliver exceptional service to customers
Partner with customers to solve complex business challenges and help them achieve their goals through Atlassian products, practices, and solutions
Lead strategic customer conversations that connect business priorities, operating models, and technical solution direction
Identify and promote opportunities for service and product expansion within a customer’s organization
Cultivate deep industry and solution expertise, staying current with evolving best practices that support different types of teams
Create high-value technical solution content and prescriptive guidance to support customer goals and outcomes across one or more Atlassian solution areas
Partner with non-customer-facing teams across Atlassian to advocate for customer needs and innovative solutions that address business drivers
Provide senior-level guidance on platform architecture, adoption strategy, and value realization across complex customer environments
Mentor peers through knowledge sharing, quality contribution, and role modeling of strong consulting practices
Travel occasionally, domestically and internationally, for customer meetings and internal events
Your background
8+ years of experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments
5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles where you have engaged with and influenced customer stakeholders ranging from technical administrators to executive leadership
Demonstrated success working with large strategic or enterprise customers in a consulting, advisory, or technical expert capacity
Demonstrated hands-on technical experience configuring, integrating, or troubleshooting enterprise software solutions, with the ability to validate recommendations through direct technical work
Strong ability to translate technical capabilities into executive-relevant business outcomes and recommendations
Proven ability to influence solution direction in ambiguous or fast-changing customer environments
Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency
It’s nice if you are
Experienced with our Cloud Platform, including:
Administration of Atlassian Cloud ecosystems, including applications such as Guard, Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Focus, Rovo, and related products
Background in SaaS-based architectures, integration methods, and associated security considerations
Cloud migrations at varying customer scales, including expertise with migration utilities and hybrid SaaS and on-premise deployment models
Experienced with our Data Center Platform, including:
Administration of Atlassian Data Center ecosystems, including applications such as Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Crowd, and related products
Background in cloud and hybrid architectures, integration methods, and associated security considerations
Comfortable coaching best practices and tailoring curated guidance for stakeholders to facilitate those practices
Experienced working on cross-team projects, engaging with Sales, Product, Support, and other teams
Known for strong consultation skills, executive presence, and credible technical judgment
