What will you do?
- Ensure daily operational management of Oracle databases, covering monitoring, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
- Administer Oracle environments, including installation, patching, backups (RMAN), and Data Guard configuration.
- Guarantee database security, availability, and compliance with established standards (e.g., access control, encryption, GDPR).
- Provide comprehensive support for various projects, such as database deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
- Document and industrialize operational procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency across systems.
- Drive proactive monitoring initiatives and continuous improvement processes for critical database infrastructure.
What are we looking for?
At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset:
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong expertise with Oracle 12c/19c, RMAN, ASM, Data Guard, and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA X9).
- Proven experience with backup and restore operations, preferably using Commvault.
- Proficiency in administering and monitoring databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Solid understanding of Unix/OEL Linux and strong scripting skills, including Powershell scripting.
- Demonstrated experience working in high-availability production database environments.
- Mandatory proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher for effective communication.
