About the role
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building web applications, with an emphasis on frontend experience and reliable backend integrations. You will be responsible for leading projects, participating in strategic technology decision-making, and mentoring less experienced team members. Your expertise in building responsive user interfaces and software engineer will be essential for achieving project goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data flow, optimize application performance, and ensure high-quality product delivery.
This role is based in Madrid, Spain.
What will you be doing?
- Designing system architectures and developing complex software components while considering both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Creating high-quality software code in accordance with industry best practices and standards.
- Managing software testing processes, identifying and resolving issues, and optimizing client-side and system performance and scalability.
- Building responsive user interfaces and scalable frontend applications adhering to the highest engineering standards.
- Mentoring junior team members by providing technical support, guidance, and sharing knowledge and experience to facilitate their professional growth.
- Influencing team direction and task prioritization.
- Tackling complex problems requiring deep analysis and evaluation of diverse factors.
- Collaborating closely with other departments, such as UI/UX, product, and production teams, and management, to ensure solution consistency and compliance.
- Engaging in effective cooperation with team members.
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Inspiring and facilitating constructive discussions around complex topics.
- Providing timely, concise, and actionable feedback to team colleagues.
- Promoting a knowledge-sharing mindset.
- Participating in recruitment interviews for your team.
- Maintaining openness to communication with both local and external partners.
- Developing mentoring skills, fostering learning, and sharing deep engineering expertise with peers.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in designing and developing advanced web applications and software systems.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts, frontend state management, algorithms, and data structures.
- Continuous focus on enhancing skills in software architecture design, modern web performance, DevOps practices, and product development.
- Strong orientation toward task automation to save time and effort.
- Implementation of improvements and optimizations in daily operations.
- Planning and managing complex web application and multi-system deployments without impacting client operations.
- Ability to balance the demands of delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines.
- Programming across multiple languages (including React or any other component-oriented JS framework and any backend languages).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, responsive web design, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure automation and client-side rendering.
- Knowledge and experience in use of design patterns.
- University or FP degree in Software Engineering.
- Proficiency in English is required for this role.

What do we offer?
Clear and transparent compensation plan. The salary range goes from 34,000 € to 50,000 €. We will discuss the indicated range with you in the first recruiting call to ensure that we are on the same page.
