Treasury & Accounts Receivable Specialist (m/f/d)

In this role, you will support the effective management of cash, banking activities and accounts receivable across the organisation. You will work closely with internal finance teams, business units, banks and customers to ensure accurate processing, timely reporting and strong financial controls.

The position combines operational treasury responsibilities with accounts receivable activities and is well suited to a finance professional who is detail-oriented, reliable and comfortable working in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

Treasury

  • Monitor daily cash positions and support short- and medium-term liquidity planning.

  • Prepare cash flow information and liquidity reports for internal stakeholders.

  • Support the administration and maintenance of bank accounts, mandates and banking documentation.

  • Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders on account-related matters.

  • Execute and monitor payments in accordance with established approval processes and internal controls.

  • Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, rejected transactions and other banking issues.

  • Support the preparation of treasury reports, cash forecasts and variance analyses.

  • Support in the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process.

Accounts receivable, billing and revenue recognition

  • Maintain customer contracts and billing-relevant master data, ensuring that contractual terms, billing schedules and customer information are accurately reflected in the relevant systems.

  • Prepare and issue recurring customer invoices in accordance with contractual agreements, approved pricing and billing schedules.

  • Create and process ad hoc invoices, credit notes and other billing adjustments in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify billing requirements, contractual changes and invoice-related queries.

  • Monitor customer accounts and ensure the timely allocation of incoming payments.

  • Perform regular reviews of outstanding and overdue receivables.

  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash and account reconciliation issues.

  • Support revenue recognition activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies and the underlying contractual arrangements.

  • Review revenue recognition schedules and relevant contract data, and coordinate with Accounting and Controlling on period-end revenue postings and adjustments.

  • Support the period-end closing process and ensure that billing, receivables and revenue-related tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Collaboration and continuous improvement

  • Work closely with Accounting, Controlling, Tax and other finance teams to ensure consistent and efficient processes.

  • Contribute to the improvement and standardisation of treasury and accounts receivable processes.

  • Identify control gaps, operational risks and opportunities for process optimisation.

  • Maintain clear and complete documentation in line with internal policies and audit requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant information and documentation.

Your Profile

  • Degree or vocational qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable field.

  • Several years of relevant experience in treasury, accounts receivable, accounting or a related finance function.

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.

  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with reconciliations, analyses and reporting files.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.

  • High level of integrity, discretion and ownership.
