- General groundwork and site preparation
- Excavation and trench support
- Laying drainage and service pipes
- Installing underground services
- Block laying and kerbing
- Construction of footpaths and paved areas
- Operating forward tipping dumper (where licensed)
- Assisting with concrete works and foundations
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in all aspects of groundwork
- Experience laying pipes and underground services
- Competent block layer
- Ability to carry out general labouring duties
- Dumper ticket/licence advantageous
- Good understanding of health & safety on construction sites
- Ability to work independently and within a team
