Welder/Fabricator

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or arc welding depending on project requirements.
• Cut, shape, bend, and fabricate metal components using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Assemble and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal structures.
• Measure and inspect fabricated components to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Perform grinding, finishing, and surface preparation.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, grinders, drills, and presses.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure tools are in safe working condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and welding standards.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and defects.
• Work independently or as part of a fabrication/installation team.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a welder, fabricator, or metalworker.
• Proficiency in relevant welding processes (MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA/ARC).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of metal fabrication techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Good attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to work in a workshop or construction environment.
• Relevant welding certifications are an advantage.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
