Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt,  Rivers

Job Summary

• The role requires strong technical judgment, field awareness, and commitment to safety and reliability.
• We are seeking a competent Mechanical Engineer to support the installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical equipment used in the oil and gas servicing sector of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operations, HSE, vendors, and project teams.
• Support equipment commissioning, testing, and performance monitoring.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment.
• Conduct failure analysis and recommend practical improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and equipment records
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional registration or certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping systems, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in oil and gas services.
• Willingness to work at project sites and locations when required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N350,000 - N500,000 monthly.
