AI Product Manager

We are seeking an AI Product Manager with 5+ years of experience in IT and digital product development. You will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, owning the product vision, strategy, and execution lifecycle. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in Agile environments to deliver scalable, high-value solutions.

As we grow into an AI-native way of working, we want someone who is already using LLMs and AI tools in their daily work and is genuinely curious about what these tools can do for product and analysis delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership in Business Analysis & Requirements

• Lead business analysis activities across the full SDLC: discovery, requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and post-release support.

  Develop a deep understanding of applications, integrations, data flows, and system dependencies.

• Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure traceability from business objectives through requirements to delivered functionality.
• Support solution design by validating alignment with business goals, technical constraints, and architectural standards.
• Create and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, risk, and dependencies.
• Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure stories are ready for development.
• Use LLM tools to accelerate requirements drafting, user story generation, and acceptance criteria writing, while maintaining quality and precision.

Business Analysis & Requirements Leadership

• Lead complex requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs, and data analysis.
• Document requirements using appropriate artefacts such as BRDs, FRDs, functional requirements, user stories, process diagrams, and use cases.
• Manage requirement changes and dependencies across initiatives and releases.
• Ensure requirements are testable and support UAT planning and execution.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to validate delivered functionality against business expectations.
• Apply AI-assisted synthesis to process large volumes of stakeholder interview notes, workshop outputs, and feedback into structured, actionable requirements.

Process & Application Understanding

• Analyze end-to-end business and system processes before proposing improvements.
• Understand how business processes are enabled by applications and underlying technology.
• Design future-state processes and system interactions that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
• Assess impacts of changes across people, process, data, applications, and integrations.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.
• Stay current on LLM and AI agent capabilities and understand where they can be practically applied within the product and delivery process.

Adaptability & Strategic Thinking

• Quickly assess IT environments, delivery models, and organizational maturity.
• Adapt analysis techniques to Agile or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Think strategically while remaining hands-on where detail is required.
• Navigate ambiguity, changing priorities, and evolving technical constraints.
• Provide input to roadmap planning and release strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and IT leadership.
• Facilitate complex discussions with senior and technical stakeholders.
• Bridge communication between business and technical teams.
• Drive alignment between business objectives, technical solutions, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and communicated throughout the SDLC.

Product Owner Responsibilities

• Monitor product performance and gather feedback to inform continuous improvement.
• Champion product vision and ensure it aligns with organizational strategy.
• Make trade-off decisions between scope, budget, and timelines while maximizing business value.
• Coach and mentor team members in Agile and product management practices.
• Contribute to defining success metrics for AI-powered features, including quality, accuracy, and user trust signals, not just adoption numbers.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or product ownership, preferably within IT, SaaS, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and cross-functional leadership.
• Proven success delivering complex IT or software products end-to-end.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable product roadmaps.
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments is preferred.
• Experience in flexible workspace, commercial real estate, or similarly complex B2B service industries is preferred.
• Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to define meaningful metrics, analyze results, and derive actionable insights.
• Proven experience conducting user research and translating findings into clear, prioritized product requirements.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical experience integrating AI-powered features into products.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to engage in architectural discussions and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Comfortable using LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) as day-to-day productivity tools, not just aware of them in theory.
• Able to have informed conversations with engineering teams about prompting, output quality, and evaluation criteria for LLM-powered features.
• Familiar with the practical limitations of AI systems: hallucinations, data privacy considerations, and when a human review step is needed.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Experience with analytics tools (PostHog, BigQuery, Looker Studio).
• Technical literacy to collaborate effectively with engineering and architecture teams.
• Prior consulting experience (preferred for contract engagements).
• Leadership in change management and scaling product practices across organizations.
• Ability to prioritize, refine, and facilitate backlog items to align business goals with delivery outcomes in Agile teams.
• The capability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure product success and business continuity.
• A human-centered approach to problem-solving that drives innovative, desirable, and feasible product solutions.
• Familiarity with process and collaboration tools such as FigJam and similar whiteboarding or workflow tools to support ideation, mapping, and documentation.
• Regular hands-on use of AI productivity tools in a professional context (e.g., using LLMs to draft PRDs, summarize meetings, research competitors, or prepare stakeholder updates).
• Basic understanding of AI agent concepts, including tool use, automated workflows, and where human-in-the-loop checkpoints are appropriate.
