Join our reporting team as a Senior Software Developer, where you will develop software solutions for complex ETL data pipelines and scalable APIs. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure data accessibility, reliability, and structure for reporting. Your responsibilities will include data pipeline development, API development, problem-solving, team collaboration, performance optimization, code review and documentation, test and quality assurance, and security and compliance. You should have proficiency in programming languages, experience building RESTful APIs and microservices, familiarity with observability platforms, experience with relational databases, experience with data streaming, and a background in cloud technologies.

Missions

  • Develop software solutions for complex ETL data pipelines and scalable APIs, ensuring data accessibility, reliability, and structure for reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, deliver relevant insights, and improve data processing and query performance.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in applications, while identifying performance bottlenecks and improving code and databases.

Profil recherché

- Proficiency in programming languages (we use Python, Java/Scala)

- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices

- Familiarity with observability platforms (we use Splunk, Datadog)

- Experience with relational databases (we use MySQL, PostgreSQL)

- Experience with data streaming (we use Kinesis/Kafka)

- Background on cloud technologies. (we use AWS, S3/EBS, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch)

- Have sound knowledge of design patterns and methodologies across multiple platforms

- 2+ years of experience in big data technologies (we use Airflow, EMR/Spark, Snowflake, Hadoop/Hive)

- 7+ years of software development experience at multiple capacities

- Excellent debugging skills

- Knowledge and support of modern development practices, such as Agile and Open-Source technologies

- AWS Certified Developer - Associate

- Certifications (optional)

- Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent
