Senior Software Engineer

Join Autodesk's Data Platform team as a Senior Software Engineer. In this high-impact role, you will design and build scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems that power analytics, AI, and customer-facing experiences. You will have real architectural ownership and the opportunity to mentor other engineers.

Missions

• Design and build APIs, streaming systems, control planes, automation frameworks, and developer-facing platform capabilities.
• Architect and implement distributed systems that process millions of records across batch and real-time pipelines.
• Drive performance optimization and system efficiency, and participate in on-call rotations to take operational ownership seriously.

Profil recherché

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

- Strong understanding of CI/CD, containerization, and cloud native infrastructure

- Ownership mindset: you build it, you run it, you improve it

- Strong programming skills in Go, Java, or Python

- Experience building and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, event-driven)

- Proven experience designing and building distributed systems or microservices architectures

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems

- Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink)

- Experience with big data ecosystems (Spark, Trino/Presto, Hive, EMR)

- Experience building data platforms, storage systems, or orchestration engines (Airflow, Temporal)

- Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and large-scale data processing

- Background in building developer platforms or internal tooling

- Experience implementing observability and monitoring frameworks
