About the Role :
- We are looking for a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer - AI/ML & Generative AI to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals combined with practical experience in Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, RAG, AI Agents, and modern AI application development.
- This role is highly execution-oriented and involves working closely with customers, product teams, and business stakeholders to understand real-world problems, rapidly prototype solutions, and build scalable, production-ready AI applications.
- You will work with technologies such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, embeddings, and cloud platforms to build and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into AI/ML solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade Generative AI and LLM-powered applications.
- Build LLM applications using OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or equivalent LLM APIs.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval, reranking, and response generation.
- Develop AI agents, tool-calling workflows, and intelligent automation using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or comparable frameworks.
- Build scalable backend services and AI workflows using Python.
- Integrate LLM applications with enterprise APIs, databases, internal data sources, and business applications.
- Rapidly prototype AI solutions and transition successful prototypes into reliable, maintainable production systems.
- Experiment with prompt engineering, context management, model selection, retrieval strategies, and LLM evaluation.
- Improve AI application accuracy, latency, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop evaluation and monitoring mechanisms for LLM and RAG applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across AI applications, integrations, and deployments.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and business teams to deliver customer-focused AI solutions.
- Stay current with advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, embeddings, and emerging AI technologies.
Mandatory Skills :
- 2+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, NLP, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python.
- Practical experience working with LLM APIs, such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on experience with RAG architectures and applications.
- Experience with LangChain and/or LlamaIndex.
- Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, information retrieval, and document processing.
- Good understanding of Machine Learning and NLP fundamentals.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and AI services.
- Strong software engineering, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and production-quality code.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and solve ambiguous, real-world problems.
