This is the job

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a project for a leading Telco client, focused on migrating an existing data platform from Teradata to Google BigQuery.

You will be responsible for migrating existing data solutions, ETL processes, and transformations, as well as validating, testing, and integrating them into production.

This is you

• Solid experience as a Data Engineer.

• StrongSQL skills and experience working with large data volumes.

• Knowledge ofdata warehouses, ETL processes, and data transformations.

• Hands-on experience withGit/version control.

• Good understanding of IT environments and development tools.

• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Google BigQuery / GCP

• Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer

• Python

• Docker

• YAML

• Experience with data warehouse/platform migrations.

• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.

• Teradata migration experience.

This is your role

• Migrate data solutions, ETL processes, and transformations from Teradata to BigQuery.

• Analyze and adapt existing SQL and data transformations.

• Validate data quality and migrated results.

• Perform testing and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Support the integration of migrated solutions into production.

• Work according to established methodologies and collaborate with a small expert team.
