Job Type: One-year Renewable Contract

Job Description

- Perform end-to-end application development across the frontend, backend, integration, database/data and reporting layers, where applicable.

- Participate in product squad sync-ups, backlog refinement, planning, progress reviews and technical discussions for assigned CRs/enhancements.

- Participate in requirement refinement, impact assessment and technical solutioning with the Product Owner/Product Lead, Tech Lead and relevant stakeholders.

- Develop, configure, unit test and integrate application changes in accordance with approved requirements, technical designs and engineering standards.

- Develop and maintain application components, APIs/interfaces, database scripts, batch jobs and reports, where applicable.

- Perform unit and integration testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing and other applicable testing activities.

- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve defects identified during development and testing. - Support cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability remediation, security testing and closure of technical findings associated with the CRs/enhancements.

- Support build, release and deployment activities, including preparation of deployment procedures/scripts, release verification, rollback procedures where applicable and post-deployment validation.

- Support investigation and resolution of production issues relating to delivered CRs/enhancements.

- Develop automated tests and improve engineering and testing practices where appropriate.

- Maintain relevant technical documentation and artefacts, including technical designs, database/interface changes, configuration changes, source code documentation, build/deployment procedures and implementation records.

- Contribute to system knowledge building and knowledge sharing within the product squad.

- Work with architecture, platform, infrastructure, database, integration and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical dependencies and issues.

- Support knowledge transfer and handover of completed CRs/enhancements to the relevant maintenance/O&S team, where required.

- Be willing and able to acquire additional technical competencies required to support CRs/enhancement across OASIS application landscape.

Qualification:

- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in application development and implementation of change requests and/or enhancements for the projects.

- Possess the below relevant technical skillsets and hands-on experience in the core application development required to undertake OASIS CRs and enhancements:

Application Development: - Java - XML - JSP - HTML - CSS - JavaScript - JEE - Spring / Spring Boot - Angular - STRUTS - Hibernate - iBatis - Enterprise Technical Architecture - Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) - JEE/J2EE design patterns Database and Data - Oracle Database - Oracle SQL - Oracle PL/SQL - Oracle SQL Developer Database design and data modelling Development,

Build and Engineering Tools - Git - Ant - Eclipse 3.3 and above - Jtest - Log4j - Shell scripting - Cron jobs - Microsoft Edge - Application/interface integration - Build and deployment - Defect investigation and troubleshooting

Reporting and Dashboard Technologies - ETL design and development using Talend Data Management Platform 8.0.1 - Crystal Reports - Weblogic - INET Crystal Clear 23 and above - Apache POI - JFreeChart Where assigned CRs/enhancements involve Dashboard/Reporting components, the engineers shall be expected to progressively acquire the necessary knowledge and competency to develop, test, troubleshoot and support changes involving these technologies. LDAP, Directory and Authentication Technologies - LDAP Schema Management - Directory Tree Design - Oracle OUD LDAP Server - WAM (SiteMinder) Version 12 and above - Kerberos for Windows Server 2019 and above Where assigned CRs/enhancements involve LDAP, directory or authentication components, the engineers shall be expected to progressively acquire the necessary knowledge and competency to develop, test, troubleshoot and support changes involving these technologies.
