About the Role

AvePoint is looking for a Channel Solution Engineer to help our partner community grow successful cloud, security, governance, and managed service practices built on the Microsoft ecosystem.

As a trusted technical advisor and presales specialist, you will work closely with partners, customers, distributors, and Microsoft stakeholders to identify opportunities, design solutions, demonstrate business value, and accelerate customer success. You will play a key role throughout the partner journey, helping partners position AvePoint solutions, validate technical requirements, develop go-to-market strategies, and build scalable service offerings.

Working alongside Partner Development Managers, Channel Consultants, and Partner Success Managers, you will ensure partners have the technical knowledge, confidence, and support needed in the presales phase to drive adoption and long-term success.

This role combines technical expertise, partner engagement, solution sales, and business strategy. You will be equally comfortable leading technical workshops, presenting to executives, conducting demonstrations, and advising partners on how to build and grow modern cloud service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements for partners and customers both virtually and onsite.
• Guide partners and customers through technical evaluation, solution validation, and decision-making processes.
• Deliver technical training, workshops, enablement programs, and best practice guidance to partner teams.
• Develop reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and technical assets that support partner success.
• Act as a trusted advisor to partner executives, architects, consultants, and technical teams.
• Assess partner capabilities and identify opportunities to expand service offerings and go-to-market initiatives.
• Collaborate with Partner Development Managers, Channel Consultants, and Partner Success Managers to drive adoption and growth.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, technical assessments, forecasting activities, and technical win strategies.

What You Will Bring

• 3-5+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, Solution Architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience working with channel partners, MSPs, distributors, resellers, or system integrators.
• Proven experience leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and partner enablement activities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, Security, Governance, Data Protection, Migration, and AI Readiness.
• Familiarity with Microsoft CSP and partner ecosystems, as well as relevant Microsoft certifications, is considered a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, with a collaborative mindset and passion for helping partners succeed.
