Assistant Business Development Manager (Agency Force)

Responsibilities:
- Manage small to medium-scale of agency portfolios and maintain strong relationships and rapport with agents through frequent interaction
- Contribute to the sales channel practices to improve agent’s productivity and efficiency
- Be involved with sales and marketing activities to increase submission activities and sales penetration
- Support cross-sell and up-sell business opportunities
- Improve sales penetration through such marketing initiatives
- Assist agents to map out production goals and strategies
- Track and monitor agents’ performances and to recommend appropriate solutions if they encounter difficulties.
- Promote training to increase agents’ product proficiency and enhance skills set
- Execute recruitment strategies and plans for growing the sales force
- Support company’s promotion, publicity and bulletin materials and carry out the launch of campaigns.
- Work with internal department to ensure quality service and underwriting/product standards are maintained
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnership roles
- Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets
- Candidate with Mainland China background, especially in insurance industry is highly preferred
