Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack Frontend focus)

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack with frontend focus) to join our team and help build cutting-edge applications that transform the financial markets. In this role, you will primarily focus on building modern, high-quality frontend applications while also contributing across the full stack when needed. You'll leverage modern technologies and AI-driven development to create intelligent, data-driven products within the fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development:Design and implement modern, responsive user interfaces using Reactand Next.js, creating intuitive, high-performance applications with an exceptional user experience.
• UI & UX Implementation:Translate Figmadesigns into polished, production-ready interfaces with strong attention to detail, responsiveness, accessibility, and usability.
• Full Stack Development:Contribute to backend development using Node.jsand Express.js, building and consuming RESTful APIs to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Cloud Infrastructure:Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud-based applications using AWSor similar platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• AI Integration:Develop and integrate AI-powered features into software applications. Experience building AI tools or leveraging AI to improve development workflows is highly beneficial.
• Collaborative Development:Work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and continuously improve the platform.
• Project Ownership:Take ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle-from concept and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Time Management & Prioritisation:Manage multiple priorities effectively while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Code Quality & Best Practices:Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while following modern development standards, participating in code reviews, and continuously improving engineering practices.
• Stakeholder Communication:Clearly communicate technical solutions, progress, and challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Experience:Minimum five years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of building modern web applications.
• Frontend Expertise:Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend development. Passion for building intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Backend Expertise:Experience with Node.js, Express.js, RESTful APIs, and backend architecture.
• Cloud Services:Experience deploying and managing applications in AWSor similar cloud environments.
• UI & UX:Strong understanding of frontend architecture, responsive design, performance optimisation, and experience converting Figmadesigns into production-ready applications.
• AI Integration:Experience integrating AI technologies into software products or using AI tools to improve engineering productivity is highly valued.
• Fintech Experience:Previous experience working within Forex trading, financial technology, or trading platforms is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong Social Skills:Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Time & Project Management:Proven ability to prioritise work, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality solutions in an agile environment.
