Responsibilities:

  • Design and evolve scalable automation frameworks using TypeScript, WebdriverIO, and Appium.
  • Build robust UI, API, regression, smoke, and end-to-end automation.
  • Develop reusable automation utilities and improve framework scalability, stability, and execution speed.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and drive reliable, fast feedback.
  • Debug automation failures and identify whether the root cause is a product defect, environment issue, or framework problem.
  • Partner with developers, product, and QA teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to test strategy, release readiness, defect triage, and automation best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive improvements in overall automation maturity.
  • Explore AI-powered testing and modern automation approaches to reduce manual effort.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of hands-on QA automation / SDET experience in a product environment.
  • Strong TypeScript + WebdriverIO + Appium experience.
  • Strong programming, OOP, framework design, and debugging skills.
  • Experience with REST API automation and CI/CD.
  • Proven experience building or significantly contributing to automation frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Playwright experience.
  • AI/GenAI-based testing or automation solutions.
  • Fintech, trading, payments, or other high-transaction product experience.
  • Cloud-based browser/device testing platforms.
