Summary

As part of the Axis Americas Operations team, Distribution Operations is the go-to resource for our Distribution Partners, helping them manage their inventory levels so they have the right products on hand to meet market demand. This team is responsible for analyzing ordering patterns, shipment trends, and inventory levels to influence our partners in making smarter business decisions that support ambitious growth goals and drive results.

The Distribution Operations Team Lead provides leadership and direction to the team supporting these partners, overseeing the execution of core operational tasks and the development of channel relationships. This role involves tracking and strategizing business insights across weekly, quarterly, and annual order cycles-including sales-in and sales-out performance-to inform supply chain decisions. Beyond data analysis, the team also manages complex customer projects from a distribution perspective, ensuring that strategic initiatives align with the broader Americas Supply Chain Model and support the company's long-term channel growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Distribution Operations Account Managers, fostering a collaborative environment that focuses on professional growth, operational excellence, and collective success.
• Represent distribution interests within the global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring regional insights inform supply chain strategies.
• Guide distributors in optimizing inventory levels based on sales goals. Track key performance and ordering/ shipment trends to drive data-backed decision-making.
• Develop quarterly business simulations that integrate financial targets into a roadmap for orders, sales-in, inventory, and sales-out. Track these roadmaps weekly and provide guidance to the team for use in ongoing discussions with global supply chain and distribution.
• Cultivate strong partnerships across the distributor network, including operations teams and key field sales advocates. Lead joint planning sessions and annual business reviews.
• Partner with Fulfillment Operations and Supply/Demand Planning to ensure end-to-end supply chain fluidity. Oversee end-customer project management processes and provide support for escalated account issues.
• Drive digitalization efforts and operational projects in collaboration with distributors and internal stakeholders to support long-term channel growth.
• Maintain consistent communication across regional and global operations teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and evolving market needs.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 2+ years’ experience in supply chain or operational field within technology companies
• 2+ years’ experience with distribution channels and models
• 5+ years’ experience building and generating business intelligence reports and applying analytics
• Experience working with global teams
• Must be self-motivated, lead with strong work ethic, capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities, and effectively manage deadlines.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with the management team and colleagues.

Target Salary:

The approximate pay range for this role is $88K- $107K. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
