As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in daily operations, staff development, guest engagement, and delivering a seamless luxury dining experience. Your leadership will support a high-performance team focused on upselling, service excellence, and memorable guest interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee in the daily supervision of restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to Grand Hyatt service standards
• Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house staff-including servers, sommeliers, and bartenders-to deliver exceptional, intuitive service
• Drive sales performance through training and monitoring of upselling techniques and guest engagement
• Ensure smooth communication and coordination between the front and back of house
• Manage guest experience, handle feedback with professionalism, and respond swiftly to service issues
• Support scheduling, labor management, and team productivity within established budgets
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with the F&B Manager and General Manager on wine and food pairings, specials, and promotional initiatives
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, service training, and development programs to continually elevate team performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of wine service, with a preference for experience in wine-driven concepts
• Proven ability to lead a team, drive sales, and deliver consistently high guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a calm, confident leadership style
• Deep understanding of service etiquette, Italian cuisine, and guest-centered hospitality
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holiday
