Responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, .NET, or any other language of your choice.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programmingwould bea plus.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts, including code structure and system design.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Interestin learning new technologiesand software development practices.
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English (at least B2 level).
- Availability to attend academy sessions on-site, 5 days per week, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Requirements
During the 2.5-month academy you will:
- Receive comprehensive training and support to familiarize yourself with our team, development processes, and the Progress OpenEdgeecosystem.
- Learn the fundamentals of the Progress OpenEdgeplatform, including programming, database administration, application servers, and other core components.
- Work together with fellow academy participants on a group project, from idea generation to implementation, gaining hands-on experience of how IT teams collaborate in real-life projects.
- Learn the fundamentals of Quality Assurance (QA) and Business Analysis, providing a strong foundationfor a career in IT.
- Develop practical skills in programming, design patterns, automated testing, CI/CD, system design, teamwork, and other essential software engineering practices.
