Lead Revenue Management accounting by establishing and maintaining policies, processes and controls in line with the Group Accounting Manual, IAS/IFRS and local requirements.
Drive cross-functional business partnering with Commercial, Product, Technology, BI, FP&A, Sales & Distribution and other stakeholders to ensure timely, complete and accurate financial information.
Oversee revenue, direct cost and commercial inventory accounting, including financial system data validation, reconciliation, reporting and timely financial closing.
Lead working capital management, including billing, receivables collection, debt management, partner settlements and inventory safety-stock monitoring.
Evaluate new products, services and commercial business cases, providing financial feasibility, accounting, tax, regulatory and commercial recommendations.
Design and review commercial channel plans, commission structures, campaigns and credit arrangements to support revenue growth and competitive market positioning.
Ensure accurate and timely BTRC regulatory reporting, including revenue sharing, MTR fund utilization, TVAS reporting and other regulatory submissions.
Own and govern relevant financial systems, GLs and data flows, ensuring reconciliation, accuracy, completeness and reliable management insights.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and tax planning, while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and effective revenue-tax management.
Lead financial audit, SOX, internal control and risk-management activities, while developing and coaching a high-performing Finance team through structured learning and performance management.
Academic Qualification
Graduation/Post-graduation in Accounting/ Finance
Professional qualification like CA/CMA/ACCA/CFA will get preference
Job Experience Required
Minimum 10-12 years’ experience including 5-6 years’ relevant experience in Managerial role in Telecom Industry
Required Capabilities
Broad knowledge of Telecom systems and processes
Sufficient knowledge of Revenue Management Chain
Sufficient telco product knowledge
Good know-how of International Roaming business
Good know-how of interconnect business
Strong knowledge on Financial Reporting Process and accounting standards
Good understanding on telecom regulation
Working knowledge of applicable ERP at entity level (Oracle, SAP)
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
Sound knowledge of IAS/IFRS relevant to Telecom industry
Strong knowledge on Internal Control & SOX
Well-versed in applicable taxation laws
Strong knowledge of Audit Standards (ISA)
