Cyber Security Analyst*

Your Responsibilities

• Analysis, classification, and prioritization of security-relevant events and alerts from various sources (e.g., SIEM, EDR, NIDS)
• Implementation and coordination of incident response measures according to established playbooks and best practices
• Operational use and further development of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, NIDS/NIPS, CSPM, etc.
• Technical point of contact for security-relevant questions within the company
• Proactive threat hunting to identify potential risks
• Development and continuous optimization of detection mechanisms (Detection Engineering)
• Participation in 24/7 SOC on-call duty as part of a rotating shift system

Your Profile

• Deep understanding of IT infrastructures, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.), and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Solid knowledge in the analysis of log data, network traffic, and security-relevant artifacts
• Strong interest in current threat scenarios, attack techniques (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), and modern security technologies
• Structured, analytical working method combined with high problem-solving competence
• Confident use of English in technical documentation and communication
• Teamwork skills, self-initiative, and strong communication skills
• Completed training or relevant certifications in the field of computer science / IT security is an advantage
• Several years of practical experience in the field of IT security, ideally in a SOC or incident response environment
