Procurement Specialist

This role is responsible for implementing the procurement process for the necessary materials, products, and services required during project initiation, planning, and execution. Responsibilities include:
Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
Searching the local market for new suppliers and subcontractors.
Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
Conducting price analyses and selecting the most appropriate alternatives.
Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
Evaluating suppliers and negotiating the best possible prices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of purchasing strategies, procurement processes, and supplier evaluation.
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with Odoo ERP, especially in managing procurement, suppliers, and purchase orders.
Ability to negotiate with suppliers, analyze quotations, and make cost-effective purchasing decisions
