We are Belvo, an open finance API platform with the bold vision of democratizing access to financial services in Latin America. We enable any financial innovator to access and interpret financial data, as well as initiate payments from their end-users accounts. We’re turning the messy complexities of the Latin American financial ecosystem into a modern set of tools to access and interpret data and move money in a seamless and secure way.

We’re a highly-technical, passionate, and driven team. We are more than 90 people and our team currently represents 20 nationalities. We have offices in São Paulo and Mexico City - while a large portion of us work remotely.

Your opportunity:

As Sales Manager in Mexico City, you'll take on a people-leadership challenge at Belvo: managing and coaching a team of Account Executives. You'll stay close to the deals - managing your team, unblocking the pipeline, and rolling up your sleeves when needed - while growing Belvo's footprint with financial institutions, fintechs, and other regulated industries, as well as large enterprises across other sectors exploring open finance in Mexico.

Open finance is accelerating fast across Latin America - we've already connected more than 100 million accounts through Belvo-powered apps to share data or process payments - and this is your chance to build and coach the team that captures that opportunity locally. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and working hand-in-hand with their team to build the commercial engine that scales Belvo in Mexico.

• Assist the team in the closing of key partnerships and accounts via demos, pre-sales calls, and in-person visits.

• Master Belvo’s product and platform and be an expert resource on Belvo's current and future product offerings.

• Work closely with our Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure proper alignment in terms of market and client needs.

• Demonstrated capacity to make data-informed decisions

• Develop, monitor and mentor a team of AEs as well as recruit new team members.

• Establish data-driven strategies to achieve sales goals related to customer signings and ACV bookings.

This position may be for you if:

• You have more than 4 years of hands-on experience as an Account Executive and are willing to stay hands-on, lead from the front, and not just from the sidelines.

• You have at least 2-3 years of experience managing Account Executives, including leading a small team, and are ready to take on the challenge of scaling and growing your career as a manager.

• You are based in Mexico City.

• You come from a B2B SaaS or B2B infrastructure background, with experience working at a startup or scale-up.

• You have a proven BDR/AE track record, having driven growth in a fast-growing, high-stakes company.

• You have experience working at an international technology company.

• You are a hustler who thrives and succeeds in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly.

• You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Spanish and English.

• You feel comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., chatbots, copilots, or productivity assistants) to enhance daily workflows and decision-making

Amazing if:

• You are fluent in Portuguese.

• Passion for fintech and deep understanding of the Latam fintech and financial sector.

• You have experience selling into financial institutions, fintechs, or other regulated industries.

• You have worked on developer tools and API-first products.

• You have leveraged AI to fundamentally change the way you work and / or build amazing projects
