Your mission
BeWunder is embarking on one of the most important digital transformation initiatives of the coming years: the selection and implementation of a company-wide ERP system.
As ERP Project Manager / Consultant - Selection & Implementation (m/f/d), you will take full ownership of this initiative from start to finish. You will analyse our business processes, lead a structured ERP selection process, and guide the organisation through a successful implementation all the way to go-live. Acting as the key interface between business stakeholders, leadership, and external implementation partners, you will ensure that the system selection is based on a thorough analysis and that the implementation is delivered efficiently, within budget, and in a sustainable manner.
Following a successful implementation, you will continuously develop and optimise the ERP landscape while taking functional ownership of its ongoing operation and enhancement.
Your responsibilities:
- Analyse, document, and optimise existing business processes while developing a future-state operating model.
- Create a comprehensive process map and a prioritised ERP requirements catalogue in close collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Lead the entire ERP selection process, including RFI/RFP preparation, vendor workshops, solution evaluations, and executive decision recommendations.
- Assess international business requirements, including multi-entity and multi-currency capabilities, compliance, data protection, and local regulatory requirements.
- Support contract and commercial negotiations, including the definition of scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
- Take overall responsibility for the ERP implementation on the client side, including project governance, timeline, budget, risk management, and steering committee coordination.
- Manage and assure the quality of the implementation partner's work, while overseeing fit-gap analyses and functional solution design.
- Lead data migration activities and ensure seamless integration of the ERP system within the existing application landscape.
- Own test management, user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, training delivery, as well as cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Take functional ownership of the ERP environment after go-live and drive the continuous improvement of business processes and system capabilities.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in the ERP environment, for example as an ERP Consultant, In-house Consultant, or Project Manager, including hands-on experience in ERP selection and implementation projects through to go-live.
- Strong understanding of core business processes, particularly in Finance, Controlling, and Procurement.
- Experience in process analysis, requirements engineering, and project management, ideally complemented by experience in data migration and system integrations.
- Proven ability to manage external service providers and implementation partners while confidently engaging with business stakeholders, leadership teams, and external parties.
- A structured and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to challenge existing processes and independently drive projects and decision-making.
- Professional proficiency in both German and English.
- You are proactive and results-driven, ensuring projects move forward and decisions are brought to a successful conclusion.
- You think in solutions, evaluating business requirements and ERP systems objectively and independently of specific vendors.
- You communicate confidently and effectively with business teams, management, and external partners.
- You work in a structured and reliable manner and maintain oversight even in complex project environments.
- You see yourself as a trusted advisor and sparring partner who challenges processes constructively and drives sustainable improvements.
