Your main responsabilities will be to:

• Visit a clearly defined number of established customers in Modern Mass market and the Traditional Channel (Carrefour, Euroshop, Happyland, Standard boekhandel,..) in order to develop the market share of BIC products, for categories: Stationery, Lighters and Shavers.
• Collaborate with external merchandisers to ensure a perfect execution instore
• Manage small retailers and regional wholesalers within the retail and B-to-B market for the categories Stationery, Lighters and Shavers
• Focus on establishing working relationships with existing customers and develop the distribution of BIC products in line with the European and local sales & pricing strategy.
• Ensure future business through constant and complete prospecting within your sales area.
• Sales Excellence & cross selling: Optimize our product visibility on the shelves with also second placement and Improve the general presentation of the BIC brand in order to increase sales.
• Introduce new products and negotiate features in customer catalogues & promotional flyers wherever possible and in the case such agreements are not centralized.
• Negotiate sales conditions and new listings with local buyers in the traditional Channel, in line with the European and local sales & pricing strategy
• Promote and take orders directly on the permanent assortments and special promotions/seasonal campaigns (BTS) and reply to local bids.
• Act as a product specialist and inform our customers in a professional way on assortments, retail pricing, market figures and market trends in order to develop together their product category
• Communicate constantly with colleagues in other departments such as Marketing & Customer Service, Sales colleagues: be alert to changes in the local market and signals coming from end users, customers, buyers and competitor activities.
• Report directly to the Sales Manager D2K Belux: Inform them about your activities, results and experiences on the field.
• Report all activities in a CRM tool: planning, visits, orders, audit, pictures,…
• Power BI usage to track and analyze sales evolution and unlock extra opportunities.

Profile:

• Higher education or equivalent by experience
• First experience in Field Sales or Account Management
• Dutch native with good level of French/English
• Lives ideally in Flemish Brabant/Antwerpen/Limburg area
• Result oriented: business and result driven with some proven sales successes
• Well organized and structured approach with good administrative skills - able to work autonomously
• Entrepreneurship & positive mindset: showing a real drive to accelerate sales in a challenging environment
• Creative and open for new ideas
• Negotiation skills
• Team-player with good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop yourself within the sales department
