Solution Owner

Rocket Wagon is seeking a Product Manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating digital projects according to predetermined timelines, budgets and goals.

Rocket Wagon works within the space between product strategy and interaction development and with a broad spectrum of clients, from high-profile startups to publicly traded companies on UX design projects ranging from mobile devices to web applications (but, we'll design for anything with pixels).

Responsibilities

• Lead the continual discovery and definition of software products that are valuable, usable, and feasible.
• Work with customers, partners, and sales teams to understand current business challenges and anticipate opportunities solve for those needs through better software products.
• Work intimately with development organization and designers to refine and build the products and features you define.
• Keep your finger on technology, maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and identifying emerging technologies that can impact our growth.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to communicate product benefits to the market
• Proactive identification of problems and opportunities followed by effective communication up and down the team.
• Collaboratively fold in new product initiatives from across a business into a cohesive product

Qualifications

• Unquestionable dedication to the goal of creating great products
• Product Manager experience or at least 3-5 years in a product management role
• Comfortable making decisions that impact business and technical outcomes
• You enjoy collaborating with developers, UX designers, marketing, clients, and partners to solve real business problems
• Demonstrated record of success in defining strategic product roadmaps as well as inventing and launching successful features
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and project management skills
• Comfort being hands-on in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment
