Treasury Manager

The Opportunity 

As Binance continues to scale globally, strong treasury operations and robust fiat reconciliation processes are critical to ensuring accurate fund flows, balance integrity, operational efficiency, and financial control. 

We are looking for a Fiat Treasury Manager to support Binance’s fiat treasury operations, with a key focus on fiat reconciliation, payment flow monitoring, balance validation, and treasury controls across banks, payment partners, internal systems, and operational entities. This role will play an important part in ensuring that fiat movements are accurately tracked, exceptions are identified and resolved quickly, and treasury processes remain scalable in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. 

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in treasury or financial operations, is highly detail-oriented, and has experience managing reconciliations, investigating breaks, and improving controls across complex payment ecosystems. 

What You’ll Do 

1. Own fiat reconciliation and treasury control processes 

• Lead and manage fiat reconciliation processes across banks, payment service providers, internal ledgers, and operational systems 
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of incoming and outgoing fiat transactions, balances, settlements, and treasury movements 
• Investigate reconciliation breaks, unmatched items, delayed settlements, and balance discrepancies, and drive issues through to resolution 
• Partner with internal teams and external partners to resolve exceptions and improve reconciliation accuracy 
• Maintain strong controls and documentation across fiat treasury workflows to ensure completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness 

2. Support treasury operations and liquidity visibility 

• Monitor fiat balances across banking partners, payment channels, and internal accounts to support daily treasury operations 
• Support cash positioning, funding movements, and liquidity allocation across entities and jurisdictions 
• Track settlement cycles, payment flows, and operational dependencies to ensure smooth treasury execution 
• Help ensure treasury balances and movements are properly reflected across systems and reports
• Support reporting on treasury balances, reconciliation status, outstanding breaks, and operational risks

3. Improve processes and infrastructure 

• Identify recurring reconciliation issues, process gaps, and control weaknesses, and drive scalable improvements 
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to improve treasury and reconciliation systems 
• Help define reconciliation logic, operational workflows, escalation paths, and reporting standards 
• Support automation initiatives to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and strengthen treasury visibility 
• Contribute to process design for new payment rails, banking setups, and fiat operational flows 

4. Partner cross-functionally on issue resolution and controls 

• Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, Payment Operations, Compliance, and external partners on treasury and reconciliation matters 
• Support incident investigation where fiat balances, settlements, or transaction records are impacted 
• Provide clear updates and analysis on key reconciliation issues, root causes, and remediation actions 
• Help strengthen governance, controls, and operational discipline across fiat treasury activities 

What We’re Looking For 

Must-haves: 

• Strong experience in treasury operations, financial operations, reconciliation, or payment operations 
• Hands-on experience with fiat reconciliation, including transaction matching, balance validation, break investigation, and exception resolution 
• Familiarity with banking flows, payment service providers, settlement processes, and ledger-based controls 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail 
• Ability to manage high-volume operational workflows in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners 
• Comfortable working across multiple systems, entities, and operational processes 

Strong signals: 

• Experience in **fintech, payments, crypto, exchanges, or financial services 
• Exposure to multi-entity / multi-jurisdiction treasury environments 
• Experience improving reconciliation controls, reporting, and process automation 
• Familiarity with treasury reporting, cash positioning, and operational risk management 
• Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to improve finance or treasury
