We are looking for a motivated Junior Infra Platform Engineer to join our team of dedicated professionals and grow with us.

Your mission

As a Junior Infra Platform Engineer, you will help build and maintain the cloud platform behind Bisly's products, supporting our engineering teams in delivering software faster and more reliably. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll contribute to our Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes platform, CI/CD pipelines, and observability stack while developing hands-on skills in automation and modern platform operations.

Key Responsibilities

As the Junior Infra Platform Engineer at Bisly, you will be responsible for:

• Help maintain Azure and on-premise server resources; provisioning using existing patterns
• Maintain and extend existing GitHub Actions workflows
• Assist with day-to-day Infrastructure platform operations (deployments, troubleshooting)
• Write and modify Terraform modules following team conventions; participate in Infrastructure-as-a-code reviews
• Support developers with platform questions; handle first-line internal requests
• Apply security guidelines; flag issues
• Contribute ideas and write small automation scripts

To succeed in this role, you'll have

• Basic cloud exposure - coursework, home lab, internship, or certification (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Proficiency in Linux CLI, shell scripting, permissions, systemd, package management
• Understanding of K8s concepts and Docker images.
• Familiarity with Git and one CI tool, Able to read and reason how good software development pipeline should work.
• Basic understanding of Terraform syntax and lifecycle; You're passionate on why IaC matters
• Knowledge about TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, firewalls. You can explain difference between VMs vs containers
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, good communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with home-lab or self-hosted project
• Interest in IoT, Building automation
