Responsibilities Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to senior members of the in-house legal team. Manage complex calendars, meetings, appointments and correspondence. Coordinate internal and external meetings, including with senior stakeholders and external legal advisers. Prepare, format and maintain legal documents, forms, correspondence, reports and presentations. Maintain accurate and well-organised legal files, records and documentation. Assist with KYC processes, legal forms and related documentation. Support the legal team with legal systems, databases and document management platforms. Maintain legal trackers, records, deadlines and action lists. Coordinate documentation and information between the legal team, internal departments and external parties. Assist with legal onboarding, documentation and administrative processes. Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high level of discretion. Support the team with reporting, document preparation and general legal administration. Assist with travel arrangements, meetings and other administrative requirements where required. Work effectively with technology and digital tools to improve legal and administrative processes. Support the adoption and use of AI-enabled and technology-driven tools within the legal function.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have: 10+ years of relevant experience in Legal Secretarial, Legal Assistant, Legal PA or similar legal support roles. Strong preference for candidates with extensive in-house legal experience. Candidates should ideally be currently based in the UAE or wider GCC/region. Experience supporting senior legal professionals and/or an in-house legal team. Practical exposure to KYC, legal forms, legal documentation and legal systems. Strong document management, organisation and administrative skills. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with senior stakeholders. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Comfortable working with legal technology, legal databases, document management systems and digital tools. Exposure to AI tools or technology-driven solutions within a legal or corporate environment would be highly advantageous. Experience within investment management, financial services, banking, private equity, sovereign wealth funds or other sophisticated corporate environments would be an advantage. Technology & Legal Systems A strong interest and confidence in technology is important for this position. Candidates should be comfortable using modern legal and business systems, including legal databases, document management platforms, electronic filing systems and other digital tools. Experience using AI tools, automation or other technology-driven solutions to support legal work or administrative processes will be considered highly relevant.
