Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Bring your audit expertise to a role where your insights can make a genuine difference. From planning and fieldwork through to clear, practical recommendations, you’ll help the business manage risk, strengthen controls and deliver better outcomes for our stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver high-quality, process-compliant audits that reflect the wider business environment.
  • Conduct walkthroughs and control testing, drawing clear, well-supported conclusions on time and to a high standard.
  • Produce high-quality workpapers that provide a strong foundation for audit outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
  • Write clear, insightful reports and, where appropriate, lead teams on audit assignments.
  • Contribute to the Audit function’s continuous improvement programme.

What are the key skills and attributes you bring:

  • At least three years’ experience in Internal Audit.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, supported by a sound risk mindset.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Flexibility and confidence working in an agile, fast-paced and changing environment.
