Blue Origin is an American aerospace company founded quietly by Jeff Bezos in 2000, and funded for two decades largely out of his own fortune rather than external investment. It flies the suborbital New Shepard vehicle for space tourism and research payloads, and developed the heavy-lift New Glenn rocket alongside the BE-4 engine, which also powers United Launch Alliance's Vulcan. Headquartered in Kent, Washington, the company is building the Blue Moon lunar lander under a NASA Artemis contract and has moved from a deliberately slow development culture toward far more aggressive schedules under chief executive Dave Limp.

  • Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and data analytics.
  • Experience implementing visual factory and production operating systems in a high-mix, low-volume or early-stage production environment.

Desired

  • Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience transitioning manufacturing capabilities from development/prototype phase to full-rate production - particularly in satellite, RF, optical, or electronics manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes, integration processes, systems engineering best practices, test, quality, and configuration management systems relevant to satellite or communications hardware.
  • Experience managing facility-level capital improvements and upgrades in support of a greenfield or rapidly scaling manufacturing program.
