Financial Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial and investment evaluations, build and review financial models, and coach a team of analysts. The role turns financial insight into clear recommendations for senior management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the review of business models and cash flow channels, identifying key strengths, weaknesses and risks.

• Review and challenge financial statements, financial models and business performance, and give clear recommendations to management.

• Build and review complex financial models, forecasts and valuation analyses, and check the quality and accuracy of the team's outputs.

• Lead financial and investment evaluations to support strategic and business decisions.

• Track financial performance and flag key trends, variances and areas for improvement.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

• Supervise, coach and develop a team of financial analysts, and review their work.

• Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management and key stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis.

• Completion of a credit course is mandatory.

• Advanced financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, business models and financial performance indicators.

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

• Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.

• Close attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Banking experience is preferred.
