About the role
Are you someone that enjoys helping people with their technical problems and coming up with solutions? Our NOC center in Las Vegas, NV is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented NOC Technician join this rockstar team. In a 24/7 environment, there is always something going on and a friendly face ready to help. This role allows the opportunity to talk to anyone and everyone whether it be internal employees or external customers.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our Network Operations team, you’ll be the one coming to the rescue of whoever is calling in regard to issues with their connectivity, hardware, software, or system issues. You will keep your finger on the pulse of our critical systems to know when to raise the red flag of potential larger issues. As a dynamic company, needs are always changing, but some of the things you will do on a regular basis are:
- Answer customer calls, create tickets, and perform initial triage for issue resolution
- Determine customer impact and urgency of issues
- Escalate or assign tickets to the appropriate team members or engineers when needed
- Own tickets until closure and communicate updates as needed
- Notify internal employees and external customers of any outages
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone who enjoys variety and not just answering the same questions over and over. This position has a variety of shifts available, but we do our best to keep a consistent schedule so our team members can plan their lives. The current available schedule is: 1pm - 10pm PT Tuesday-Saturday but could change. We're looking for someone with excellent customer service and technical skills. You will also have some of the following:
- Bachelor's degree required from an accredited university with at least 1 year of IT Desktop Support experience
- Network certification (i.e. CCNA)
- Network Monitoring Center experience is a big plus
- Wifi Network support experience is a big plus
- Distributed Antenna System (DAS) experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
