Position Overview
Bone Dry Roofing is seeking a motivated Installation Technician to join our growing solar team. This technician role involves traveling to local job sites in a company-provided truck and assisting with residential and light commercial solar installations. The ideal technician is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to grow within the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities
Install and support residential and commercial solar systems on job sites
Assist with mounting, wiring, and testing solar equipment
Travel between local work sites using a company-provided vehicle
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow company procedures and safety standards on all solar projects
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and professionally
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams while representing the company positively
Qualifications
1-2 years of solar experience required
Valid driver’s license required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
Work Environment
This position primarily involves working in the field at work sites
Must be able to work in varied weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment.
Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders to determine work needs
Driving
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements to travel to and from work sites.
