We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join Boosta’s service team, which provides design, development, content, and IT infrastructure creation & support services for the holding’s projects.

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will:

• Develop and maintain test plans, checklists, and test coverage, including edge cases.
• Perform regression testing during releases.
• Track bugs in Jira and communicate directly with developers.
• Test integrations with services such as Google Calendar, Slack, Jira, and others.
• Test products across different environments (dev, prod) and platforms, including browser extensions, web applications, and macOS/Windows applications.

We value specialists who:

• Have experience in manual and functional testing of web and desktop applications.
• Have a solid understanding of testing theory and methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and basic performance testing.
• Can independently create test plans, checklists, and test cases and anticipate edge cases and non-standard scenarios.
• Have experience with regression testing and testing integrations between services.
• Understand how web applications work, including GET/POST methods, request parameters, and response codes, and have experience testing pagination, redirects, and AJAX requests.
• Have experience using Jira for bug tracking and test management systems such as TestRail.
• Have experience with AI tools, including local model deployment and training, prompt engineering, and integrating AI solutions into workflows.

Will be a plus:

• Experience or a genuine interest in evaluating AI product quality will be a plus, including an understanding of precision, recall, F1, false positive rate, and false negative rate.
• Experience with comparative and regression testing of AI product quality when changing an LLM model or prompt will be a plus.
• Basic Python skills for writing simple AI quality evaluation scripts and automating their execution will be a plus.
• Understanding of API principles and experience with API testing, including automated testing, will be a plus.
