As a software engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver complete end-to-end solutions to your clients. Using your software engineering expertise, you’ll analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the currentarchitecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You’ll sharpen your skills as you master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements.

You Have:

• Experienceusing Java to build enterprise products and applications

• Experiencewith back-end frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus

• Experiencewith Git and GitLab CI/CD

• Experienceworking in a team environment

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• Ability toobtain a Security+ Certificationwithin 3 months of hire date

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith AI or ML pipelines and processes

• Experiencewith Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)software patterns to ingest large and complex datasets

• Experiencewith containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experienceworking with geospatial tools and datasets

• Experiencewith scripting languages such as Python or Bash

• Experiencebuilding real-time data processing applications using streaming libraries such as Kafka Streams

• Experiencewith metadata management such as Data Catalogs or Advana and graph databases such as Neo4j

• Knowledge ofanalytic platforms such as Kafka or Spark

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degreein an IT field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
