Construction Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineer on our DPRI team, you will stand at the operational core of the most significant strategic realignment of military forces in the Indo-Pacific. You’ll work with programs that represent multi-billion-dollar commitments to reduce the footprint of U.S. forces while modernizing remaining installations for long-term operational resilience. You will apply your engineering acumen to solve intricate island-based civil challenges, from managing complex watershed hydrology and steep-terrain earthwork, to engineering seismic and typhoon-resilient utilities. You Have:
- 5+ years of experiencewith civil engineering, including site development, land development, or horizontal infrastructure design and technical review
- Experienceconducting comprehensive engineering reviews for grading, mass earthwork cut or fill balances, soil stabilization, stormwater conveyance or retention systems, erosion control, and pavement designs
- Experiencereviewing and coordinating primary civil utilities, including potable water distribution, wastewater collection, and dry utility underground duct banks
- Experienceevaluating civil design drawings and models utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and standard hydrological or hydraulic modeling software
- Knowledge ofDoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) such as UFC 3-201-01 Civil Engineering or UFC 3-210-10 Low Impact Development, and commercial building or civil codes
- Ability tocoordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, conduct on-site civil inspections, and prepare technical deficiency memorandums
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degreein Civil Engineering
Nice If You Have:
- Experiencesupporting bilateral construction programs in Japan, including working alongside the Okinawa Defense Bureau (ODB)or Japan Ministry of Defense (JMOD)
- Experiencewith coastal engineering, marine-adjacent drainage, slope stabilization or retaining wall systems such as MSE walls, or high-seismic or typhoon infrastructure hardening
- Experiencewith Marine Corps master plans, the SACO Final Report, and the DPRI Okinawa Consolidation Plan
- Ability toread technical drawings and civil engineering specifications using Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS)
- Professional Engineer (PE)License

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
