Defense Posture Analyst

As a Defense Posture Analyst,you’llprovide guidance, technicalassistance, analysis, and programmatic supportregional posture assessments.You’llcoordinate, analyze, and draftanindependent assessment or report toinform key decisions that willhelpmaintainmilitary advantage, reduce risk in contingency plans, and sustain homeland defense capabilities in the European region. You’llgather, analyze, and use data from stakeholders acrossthe customer enterprise, Combatant Commands, and partner organizations to develop classified and unclassified summaries, cost estimates, and budget displays.You’llensure the assessment comprehensively addresses force structure and posture across NATOAllycountries,logisticsrequirements, infrastructure investments, security cooperation authorities, and resourcing plans.

You’llfacilitatemeetings, interviews, and data calls and develop graphics and briefing materials. You'll support senior-level briefings, including responses to follow-on questions. To ensure broad understanding of posture systems, processes, andrequiredinformation,you’lldevelop training materials and provide stakeholder trainings as needed.You’llorganize posture data, analyze progress reviews, generate reports, and present results toour customerand other stakeholders.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience in the military or government

• 2+ years of experience with Combatant Command, major Command level, or joint planning

• Experience organizing data in Microsoft Power BI and Excel

• Experience with data gathering, analysis, visualization, and basic data systems

• Ability to demonstrate complex problem-solving using relevant methodologies

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in international relations, security studies, or public policy

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in the USEUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR)

• Experience supporting congressional reporting requirements or working on a Combatant Command staff

• Experience in security cooperation or assistance planning or execution

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Maven Smart Systems, SQL, Microsoft SharePoint development, Advana, Qlik, and Tableau

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

• TS/SCI clearance

• Master's degree in international relations, security studies, or public policy

• Completion of Command and General Staff qualifications and training

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
