Electronics Engineer, Mid

Join our hardware engineering team where you'll design, prototype, and deliver innovative hardware solutions for real-world applications. As an Electronics Engineer, you'll collaborate with other experienced electronics engineers and cross-functional teams to tackle complex hardware challenges, developing custom circuit boards, integrating hardware, software, and firmware, and integrating commercial and custom electronic components.

You’ll perform analyses of currentand future technologies, analyze existing designs, including reverse engineering, develop new electrical designs, support prototyping and manufacturing, and conduct testing. Your work will also include ruggedizing systems for extreme environments for systems that may operate in space, on the ground, or underwater. Your work will directly impact mission-critical projects, supporting both defense and advanced technology initiatives. You Have:

• Experiencewith printed circuit board (PCB)design
• Experiencesupporting or conducting test events in laboratory, prototyping, or field environments
• Experienceusing common laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, electronic loads, and spectrum analyzers
• Experiencereviewing, interpreting, and analyzing electrical drawings, diagrams, and schematics in a defined process flow
• Knowledge ofbasic engineering principles as they apply to hardware design and product development, including electronics, digital computers, computer engineering, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, robotics, radio frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and microelectronics
• Ability todevelop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings or schematics, 3D models, and written technical documentation
• Ability tocollaborate with an integrated product delivery team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
• Ability toeffectively communicate concepts, results, and technical information to internal and external audiences, and technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability toobtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degreein Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith Altium for PCB design
• Experiencewith fabrication, assembly, and integration of electromechanical prototype ground, space, maritime, or othermilitary systems
• Experiencein lab-based developmental testing and test data acquisition
• Knowledge ofprogramming, including with C or C++
• Knowledge of the development of embedded systems, including Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)development, firmware development, or hardware or software integration
• Knowledge ofproduct design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, and hardware operation and exposure in extreme environments
• Secret clearance
• Master's degree
• EIT or PE Certification
