The Opportunity:

As a trainer on our Mission Training Complex (MTC)team, you'll prepare and deliver mission command and simulations training based on event training plans. You'll train military users and develop training methods and materials, including curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids, based on consultation with the client and user specifications. You'll maintain technical and tactical proficiency with the software and training support package (TSP)products for multiple live, virtual, and constructive capabilities. You'll test and troubleshoot hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems using capability documents and performance of operational readiness tests in preparation for training events. You'll also analyze and document flaws in system configuration and implement corrections, participate in special projects and perform additional duties to support client requirements, and set-up class and training material in different locations, as required.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experiencewith adult training
• Experienceusing the official system program and product manager's training products, or using the commercial software and hardware developer's technical and training material
• Ability todeliver operator-level training in accordance with established training plans
• Ability towork weekends, holidays, and up to 12 hours a day outside of normal work hours
• Ability totravel up to 25% of the time
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experiencewith U.S. military training or supporting military operations
• Experiencewith the Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Force XXI Battle Command Brigadeand Below (FBCB2), and Mounted Mission Command
• Experiencewith Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC)simulations
• Experiencecreating training plans and materials
• Knowledge ofstaff operations at the battalionlevel and above
• Completion ofa Foundational Instructor or Facilitator Course such as the Association for Talent Development (ATD)Master Trainer, Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), or equivalentSister Service Instructor CertificationCourse
