As an acquisition-focused munitions analyst, you’ll bring your strategic and technical expertise to work alongside senior portfolio management leaders on projects that drive acquisition policyand defense procurement decisions. You’ll use your skills and expertise to assess technical capabilities, evaluate readiness, and establish doctrine for the DoW's munitions portfolio.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experiencein the DoW acquisition enterprise

• 3+ years of experiencesupporting major capability acquisition programs for platform and weaponcapabilities, including artillery, rockets, and subsonic, supersonic, or hypersonic cruise missiles

• Experiencedeveloping and evaluating acquisition strategies, acquisition program baselines, risk reduction plans, or international cooperation plans

• Experiencepreparing and coordinating correspondence requests directed to senior department leadership, legislative branch offices, foreigngovernments or agencies, international organizations, or private organizations

• Experiencereviewing the annual defense authorization and appropriations acts for provisions that affect air platform and weapons programs

• Knowledge ofall phases of the planning, programming, and budgeting system

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experienceanalyzing mission capability portfolios to assess cost, schedule, and performance risks associated with the system-of-systems required to execute mission threads

• Experiencedeveloping monthly and quarterly status reports on major acquisition programs, including Selected Acquisition Reports (SARs)

• Experiencesupporting the preparation of Acquisition Decision Memoranda, Overarching Integrated Product Team (OIPT)reports, or program update briefings

• Experiencesupporting General Accounting Office and DoD Inspector General studies and audits

• Systems Acquisition or the Defense Industry Defense Acquisition University Certification

Clearance:
