The Opportunity:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the US Army to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their currentand evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the US Army needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll help the US Army build and maintain a reliable network to support critical training missions. You’ll work with soldiers, other SMEs, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to grow your skillsin network design, maintenance and administration while continuing to grow your network engineering experience. You Have:

• Experienceresearching and recommending network and server hardware and software for large complex networks
• Experienceimplementing and managing network policies, procedures and standards and enforcing security procedures
• Experiencemonitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating hardware and software network problems
• Experienceworking with Active Directory, Group Policy, and VLAN Management
• Knowledge ofinstalling, designing, configuring, and maintaining system hardware and software
• Ability todevelop, maintain, and implement network support and archiving procedures
• Ability tomeet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure that computer software and applications adhere to the organizational plan
• Ability toobtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability toobtain a Security+ Certificationwithin 30 days of hire
