OpenText Content Server Developer

The Opportunity:

As an embedded software engineer, you know how to create and maintain crucial pieces of software. You use your knowledge to write and optimize code that creates a bridge between pieces of software, allowing them to communicate. We’re looking for an experienced embedded software engineer like you to developtechnology for our clients’ most important mission-forward challenges.

As a senior embedded software engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll support the development of systems, sites, and tools for our clients. Using the latest tools and technology, you’ll write, test, and edit code in support of the team’s overall results. You’ll expand your skillsas you developand reverse engineer software that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices, as well as configure solutions based on the platform being used. You’ll work with other team leaders to troubleshoot and correct operational issues, as well as with cybersecurity specialists to ensure that the software you’re creating is secure.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experiencewith OpenText Content Server versions 16.x or 22.x
• Experienceconfiguring and customizing OpenText Content Server, including OScript module development, workflows, forms, and Content Server Web Services such as SOAP or REST
• Experienceintegrating OpenText with external systems using APIs, middleware, or enterprise service bus patterns
• Experiencedeveloping technical documentation, migration strategies, implementation roadmaps, test plans, and deployment artifacts
• Experiencesupporting secure, large-scale enterprise environments, ideally in federal or regulated industries
• Experiencewith authentication or authorization frameworks such as SAML, OAuth, or LDAP/A, and with SQL databases, such as Oracle or SQL Server, system logs analysis, and performance tuning
• Experiencewith OScript, WebReports, SmartUI or REST API extensions, Content Server administration, and module customization
• Ability todevelopautomation, metadata models, and governance-enabling features that improve retrieval, classification, and lifecycle management of enterprise content
• Ability toobtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith OpenText platforms such as AppWorks, Core Share, Extended ECM, or Documentum
• Knowledge ofcloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GovCloud equivalents
• Possession ofstrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• OpenText Content Server, AWS, or Azure certifications
