Post Quantum Cryptography Engineer

The Opportunity :

Use systems architecture, network engineering, or software development skill sets to implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC)solution architectures across a variety of reference architectures. Work on transitioning products, systems, and environments to post-quantum standards. Use comprehension of operating system environments and network configuration to analyze the development of advanced methodologies to help promote cutting-edge analysis of PQC. Leverage cybersecurity expertise to perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information system assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to comply with information assurance (IA)and security requirements.

You Have:

• Experienceas a PQC scientist or engineer

• Experienceleading and managing small projects

• Experienceevaluating trust architectures and evaluating cryptographic approaches

• Experiencewith software development, cybersecurity, or network engineering

• Experiencewith programming in Python, Rust, or C++ and low-level programming concepts

• Knowledgeof secure network protocols software, public key infrastructure, and the services that use them

• Ability todevelop technical documentation to support accreditation efforts using information security, including systems and network security

• Ability toconvey complex concepts and work collaboratively with a varied audience

• Ability toobtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degreein Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science

• Experiencewith Linux and Windows fundamentals

• Experiencewith hardware Trusted Compute architectures

• Experienceimplementing and maintaining security controls across server-based environments

• Experiencewith digital forensics, secure software development, or penetration testing

• Knowledgeof the cybersecurity risk management process and governance, risk, and compliance strategies and tools

• Ability to demonstrate contributions to cryptographic standards or papers

• Possession ofexcellent written and verbal communication skills
